$125 | 3.5 CEs
Workshop Description
Treating clients with complicated grief is common for many therapists that specialize in work with trauma, yet it has unique components that require care to address effectively with EMDR therapy. In this training, we will look at the aspects of loss that increase the likelihood for complicated grief to develop, and how to most effectively treat it with EMDR. We will cover the art of pacing of the work, specific interweaves to promote closure and strategies to help facilitate the development of a healthy new narrative as the client incorporates the loss into their new assumptive world.
